My PDF is signed off, so why print proofs before printing?
It’s easy to overlook errors while proof reading on a computer screen. It is therefore important to carefully read through hard copies of the document in order to identify any unnoticed errors.
Additionally, proof reading and viewing colour proofs at the hard proof stage helps you to understand how the document will appear in the final printed version.
